We are a Kings Award-winning manufacturer of outdoor furniture made from 100% recycled UK plastic. Every item is hand made as though it was for our own use.

For 30 years TDP have been supplying environmental products that last for a very long time and are easy to maintain. We have always majored on products that have high environmental attributes and five years ago started selling a small range of items made from recycled plastic. It soon became apparent that there was both a requirement for long lasting, durable furniture and the desire from manufact

urers to design and make these. From these small beginnings, TDP now aim to bring you the widest range of useful products made from recycled plastic in the UK. Whilst this extensive range has the highest environmental credentials, manufactured using recycled plastic waste that would have been destined for landfill, the first priority was to produce products that are ‘fit-for-purpose’, designed and manufactured to the highest standards and where possible outperform more traditional materials.

We are delighted to congratulate TDP Founder and Managing Director, Rob Barlow MBE, on being recognised in the King’s Birthday Honours List with an MBE for Services to Sustainable Manufacturing and to Charity.

A truly well-deserved honour, this recognition reflects more than 35 years of dedication to British manufacturing, the circular economy and supporting communities both locally and around the world.

In Rob’s own words, while this is a proud personal achievement, it is also a reflection of the incredible team, mentors and wider community that have supported TDP’s journey. From championing sustainable manufacturing to his longstanding work with Aquabox , Rob has consistently demonstrated a commitment to making a positive difference.

Another week, another show...

🌿 Today marks the first day of the Funeral Exhibition (11th–13th June), and we’re proud to be showcasing our range of memorial benches.

Crafted in Derbyshire from 100% recycled plastic ♻️, our benches provide a lasting place for reflection and remembrance. Designed to withstand the elements without rotting, splintering or requiring ongoing maintenance, they’re a fitting tribute for loved ones for years to come.

🏏 The cricket season is back… and if you're heading to Derbyshire County Cricket Club look out for the TDP Pitch-side Terrace! ☀️💚

As a proud Derbyshire business, it’s fantastic to see our recycled plastic furniture helping create a relaxing hospitality space right on the edge of the action. Featuring our armchairs, sofas and tables, our furniture is built not just for long summer days but also the unpredictable British weather.

Better still, the furniture in the space is made from the equivalent of 137,764 recycled plastic bottles ♻️ helping save 31 cubic metres of waste from landfill and preventing over 20,000 miles worth of CO₂ emissions 🚗🌍

🦔 Hedgehog Awareness Week 🦔

By now, many hedgehogs across the UK will have well and truly emerged from their winter hibernation — and we’re very happy to say that some have spent those colder months tucked away inside TDP Hedgehog Houses 💚

There’s something really special about knowing these little visitors found a safe, dry place to rest through the winter before heading back out into our gardens and hedgerows this spring.

With hedgehogs continuing to face challenges in the wild, it’s a great reminder of how small changes in our outdoor spaces can help support local wildlife.

In celebration of this special week, we’ve donated a TDP Hedgehog House to the amazing Hampdens Hedgehogs as a raffle prize, with the lucky winner being announced this weekend 🦔🎉
