Just doing a bit of this and that no fuss no “we can’t do that chat “ just turning up making the impossible possible that other flooring companies can’t achieve.
3 other flooring companies came to this customers house over in Essex this week and said they can’t line that herringbone up through the hallway kitchen then through to the lounge then back into the hallway.
Well we did in fact we did the whole job in 3 days start to finish 🤷🏻‍♂️ labflooring

We don’t just fit floors sand floors and prep floors we sand and oil worktops like this one over in the aircraft museum Hammersmith London completed in just 2 days this water damaged work top was sanded and finished in Osmo worktop oil and it looks stunning

Well last week was a different week at LAB Flooring.

We took a trip up to Hammersmith London to the Aircraft Museum to sand and oil 2 solid oak work tops that were just looking tired and suffering with scratches and water damage. The results as you can see in the pictures, speak for themselves - a very happy client and another one in the bag for LAB Flooring.

All in a days work - sanded back to its natural state to remove the horrible orangery look that happens naturally over time to oak, finished off with 3 coats of matt water based lacquer.

We got a call last week from a customer regarding a latex issue that someone had done for them.

The company hadn’t used the correct latex, nor did they prime the floor prior to this.

We came and lifted up the rest of the broken latex, then we grip primed the whole floor, and latexed the area using bag and bottle method.

Once dried, we laid this stunning oak herringbone floor over the top. Flowing through the kitchen into the dining room tying nicely into the lounge.

It’s been a good year at LAB Flooring I’ve definitely gone greyer but I’ve hit what seemed impossible targets and deadlines to other companies I’ve blown out the park and completed everything with outstanding reviews, am I slowing down? Absolutely not with January all ready booked up and 2 big contracts pending for next year we’re only getting started and we are ready to do what we did this year which is give customers a service that they will never have with any other company, to achieve the impossible no fuss no problems and create solutions!

That’s a wrap from me at LAB Flooring
Finished the week off with one of the toughest laminate herringbones I’ve done purely down to the click system never the less we got it done flowing from lounge to hallway to two cupboards under the stairs all without door bars finished off with scotia all the way around and 5 solid fire doors to cut down

A solid oak floor made with a tounge and groove making the flooring slot together nicely random lengths and random widths
We had just one day to get this done due to skirtings being fitted and allowing for the oil to dry in time.

We used adhesive to stick the floor down and the floor was secretly nailed using a portanailer machine
We used 2788 nails to be exact and 26 kg of adhesive and a 5 litre tin of raw osmo oil 2 coats of

December is now fully
