Keep me crafts

Keep me crafts Handmade, novelty crafts made to last and to reduce waste I enjoy making crafts that are creative, fun and practical.

My name is Adi and I set up 'Keep me crafts' because am passionate about creating zero-waste crafts that will last and form new cultural traditions. I began a zero waste journey in 2018, starting with small swaps to reduce single use plastic, from shampoo bars and cloth wrapping paper to switching to a plant-based diet in 2019. In 2021 I designed, created and tested my novelty Christmas Crackers, inspired by my two young children as well as my love of art.

Lovingly made and designed, I enjoyed selling some of my Christmas crackers today getting into the Christmas spirit :)

Are you thinking about what to give up for lent this year? Why not make an eco pledge? I have enjoyed produced these materials for All Saints church this year as food for thought / ideas for lent!

This Lent we are encouraging everyone to make an eco pledge, something that you will pledge to do during Lent, which will benefit Planet Earth. Perhaps it could be around food: cut down on the amount of meat you consume, or work to eat food that is LOAF (Locally grown, Organic, Animal-friendly, Fair...

My Zero Waste journey has been published in this months newsletter of All Saints church and on their website, take a read if you are interested! www.allsaintswokingham.org.uk/my-zero-waste-journey/

My zero waste journey began around five years ago at the beginning of 2018, when I was thinking about what to give up for Lent. For the first time in a while, I was thinking seriously about the meaning of Lent and what would be a meaningful sacrifice that required real self-discipline.
