In May 2024 I took the plunge and decided to try and sell some of my art work for the first time 😬
I set up an Etsy store and after some experimentation landed on a form of artwork that I felt was unusual and ‘me’ and so Made With Aroha Art was born!
Aroha = Maori for love 🥰
I source reclaimed wood from trades people and sustainable businesses and hand paint with love a variety of wildlife, floral and pet portrait pieces 🐾
It’s hard to believe it’s been two years already that I have been sharing my art with others in the UK with over 80 pieces sold and being enjoyed by others!
This year is proving tough with a real slow down in Etsy footfall and a step away from craft markets which took so much time with little return last year. But I remain optimistic, I love painting and each piece created is my outlet / medicine for an otherwise busy and sometimes stressful day job.
Thank you to those that follow my journey, support my social media outreach through comments, reactions and sharing and for those that have purchased from me in the past and supported my small business!
Here’s to many more pieces created and sent on to new forever homes 😉
