Our celebrations continued today with our eldest son, wife and grandchildren who unfortunately were away on holiday when we first announced our retirement. It was great to catch up with a delicious meal, drinks and toast of ch*****ne! We have been over whelmed with
peoples wishes , flowers, cards and generosity. Thank you very much XX❤️❤️

Just a glimpse of the cards, flowers and bunting. A bit difficult to arrange showing all the names and designs.
For everyone I promised group photo, they are on my to do list and we will definitely get them to you.

The days have flown by so quickly. A little reflection this morning on what a fantastic group of Sewers we have been lucky enough to meet, and to say a BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who contributed to our leaving gifts including a large strong wooden potting tray and stand (still to be assembled) which will replace my old falling apart one.
Also everyone who gave their time to sew and embroider à beautiful string of bunting, all individually named, and of course Julie for organising,and stitching them all together . It really is amazing and true memorable keepsake. We thank you all again. Xx

After announcing our retirement last week, it has been a rollercoaster of emotions.
We would like to thank each and everyone of you for your cards, flowers, gifts and well wishes for our retirement. It has been truly overwhelming.

It has been our privilege to serve the people of Wolverhampton, West Bromwich and surrounding areas
It is with the greatest gratitude we thank you all for your custom, support and friendship over the last 65 years.

Happy sewing ! Keep dressmaking, quilting, up-cycling and put the knowledge and skills you have acquired to good use.

We welcomed Zoe, Lucy and Val to sewing on Saturday, Zoe came wearing her recently completed bib front skirt, with front bib pocket ! Bright contrast shoulder straps and waistband. Love the bright cheerful patterned fabric. Suits your bright and cheerful smile! Well done Zoe!🩷✂️👏🏼🧵🪡

Christmas projects have this year been a popular project throughout the year! Heather has this week started her Christmas tree collection, this made as a memory tree for a friend whose mom was a keen stitcher, and has used some of her Christmas fabrics as a lasting memory. So thoughtful! We are sure it will be treasured. ❤️✂️👏🏼🧵🪡

Darren is recently new to sewing, and thrilled with his new fully lined bedroom curtain. Fitting silver eyelet rings ready to slide onto his curtain pole. Darren is at the moment renovating his home so this is his first curtain of more to come! Excellent work and very well done!✂️🪡🧵⭐️👏🏼
