Haven't posted much lately, everything's grey 🤣. I do feel the need to say something about a quote I recently did for an elderly disabled gent, he had me booked in for a quote but before I could attend SCS paid him a visit and he unfortunately went with them as he didn't know the price of carpet by his own admission, because of this he was charged WELL over the odds by £400+ compared to my quote and they won't refund him even though fitting isn't due for a while. This is completely unacceptable behaviour preying on vulnerable people, I was more disgusted than him at what he was being charged. If you have elderly relatives try to be there to question the prices being given because clearly these "specialists" aren't beneath taking advantage of people. They should be ashamed of themselves but its commission over customers with the bigger companies.
