Beautiful Boudica has lost weight overnight 😢. X

Everything crossed please for Boopable Boudica. Praying that the x-rays show that the vet will be able to save her leg x

Still no sight or sound of Boudica's hoglets; talk about prickly needles in a haystack! Hopefully they've already left home. She is safe and more comfortable now and waiting to see the vet for her broken leg. Hoping they can save it but we'll have to wait and see. Isn't she beautiful? x

Got her! Just before 3am. Her foot is warm, so good circulation, not an open fracture as I can see. Right, its after 4 now, she has what she needs, I'm off to bed! X

Wishing you all a great weekend, but please keep hedgehogs in mind if tidying your garden or allotment. Have you seen my notices around about how to help hedgehogs? I have sought advice about this hedgehog and her hoglets. We have searched as far as we can under the hedge for her nest, but can't find her nest. We need to get her and the hoglets together or wait until she beings them out, but its horrid to see her suffer 😢. All I can do is provide food and water nearby for her. X
