***THE JUST GIVING LINK IS NOW WORKING ***

I'm disappointed to be writing this.
As many of you know, I'm taking part in a Fire Walk to raise funds for Out Reach Angels, an incredible not-for-profit organisation that works tirelessly to support people experiencing homelessness.
Almost a week ago, we set up a JustGiving page after a number of people from further afield asked how they could support the fundraiser. Unfortunately, the page has been under review ever since and is still awaiting approval.
I've tried repeatedly to contact JustGiving through the support options available to me, but so far I've been unable to get any meaningful update on when the review process will be completed. What has been particularly frustrating is the apparent lack of access to a real person who can review the situation and provide an answer. Instead, I've found myself going around in circles with automated chat responses that don't seem able to deal with anything outside of standard enquiries.
I fully recognise that JustGiving helps raise millions of pounds every year for worthwhile causes and charities, and I'm sure many organisations have benefited enormously from their platform. However, on this occasion, rather than helping our fundraising efforts, the ongoing delays and lack of meaningful support are actively hindering our ability to raise money for a cause that is making a real difference to vulnerable people in our community.
While I appreciate the need for checks and verification, it's disappointing that there appears to be no straightforward way to speak to someone when a genuine issue arises. Meanwhile, valuable fundraising time is being lost while we're trying to generate support for such a worthwhile cause.
I'm hopeful the page will eventually be approved, but in the meantime I'd love to hear from anyone who has experience with alternative online fundraising platforms that are reputable, secure, and suitable for charitable fundraising.
I don't want to close the JustGiving page just yet in case approval comes through shortly, but I am keen to get things moving as quickly as possible so we can maximise support for Out Reach Angels and the fantastic work they do.
