Happy Thursday — what a week of funny weather it’s been. One minute glorious sunshine, the next pouring rain!

I wanted to share this room from a recent project where we fitted a pair of curtains and a roman blind in a stunning William Morris design from Sanderson Fabrics and Wallpapers. I just love how it’s transformed the space. The pattern has that classic charm, yet still feels cosy and fresh — instantly making the room more inviting.

It’s amazing how something as simple as a blind can add so much character. Would you go for a bold pattern like this, or keep things plain?

Afternoon all,
A little cooler today but still with a touch of sunshine – a sure sign that September is on its way.

All our curtains are finished with thermal lining and interlining as standard, and it really makes a difference. Not only do they drape beautifully and feel more luxurious, but they also help to keep the warmth in as the seasons change. Here, I’ve added a sweet Troynorth Limited pom pom trim for a softer, playful touch – the little details that make a home feel special. Beautiful fabric
