A cosy, neutral scheme for a returning client ✨

The client in her own words is "afraid of colour."

So this is what I told her:

- Let's play around with a variety of finishes (wood/stone/metal) to create interest
- Add panelling to the walls to create depth, in keeping with the architectural integrity of the home
- Layer tonal fabrics so the scheme doesn't appear flat
- Pair light and dark woods to create warmth and contrast
- Add subtle weaves in rugs, herringbone floors or faint geometric patterns on cushions
- Include greenery and tie this in with the artwork for a subtle pop of colour

Period properties will forever be my favourite!

Quiet luxury, but make it liveable ✨

Earthy neutrals, layered textures, warm bronze detailing and considered lighting all make this space feel sophisticated and inviting...

For clients that struggle visualising a space, creating renders of my designs showing the finished product is so powerful!

Is this giving cosy autumnal vibes or whatttt?!

Every room starts like this ✨

Before a single item is ordered, I'm considering scale, proportion, textures, lighting, colour, how the room will feel and how every piece works together.

This is the part that turns ideas into a home that feels effortless ✨

As we approach the completion of this kitchen renovation, I wanted to answer a question I’m asked so often…

“What does an Interior Designer actually do?”

Most people see the finished space. I see months of decisions, problem-solving and hundreds of details that make the room work effortlessly.

From creating a cohesive colour palette, selecting finishes and materials, designing lighting schemes, planning storage around how my clients live, coordinating suppliers and trades and overseeing the details that bring everything together.

The reality is, good design isn’t just about choosing a beautiful worktop or paint colour. It’s about making hundreds of considered decisions that all work together to create a space that feels right.

My client recently told me she would never have had the confidence to choose this worktop herself. Now, every friend who walks through the door says “WOW!"

That’s the value of design. Not just creating a beautiful home, but giving clients the confidence to make decisions they’ll love living with every day ✨

POV: your bedroom finally feels like a hotel suite ✨

It's the layering, the textures and the finishing touches...

This is where the magic happens 🪄

It was all about texture in this navy and caramel muted scheme. It's giving boutique hotel vibes...just the artwork framing to go ✨
