Some of these pins, dividers and hooks have matching bobbins and some are unique pieces. You can see the full range in the online catalogue on pages 14 & 18 & 19.
We love making them and the ones in these photos are some that we've sent to both our wonderful customers here in the UK and our lovely customers all over the world 🌏🌎🌍

Who doesn't love a Sunflower? Okay, maybe there are a few non-takers out there but we just love them and they are our daughter's favourite flower💛
We've enjoyed making Sunflower bobbins over the years and here are a few to bring some late summer sunshine into your day. We have some more ideas in the making so keep your eyes peeled 🌻👀

Hello everyone, here's a photo of a plateful of bobbins to help boost the circulation of this important message about the September Bobbin A Month Club.
Vicky's mum has been unwell and is now in hospital (thankfully on the mend now) and so we are running later than usual this month. No need to do anything until you receive your usual communication from us regarding payments and we will be sending your orders out to you asap 🌏🌎🌍
Thank you for your patience😊

We hope you all had a great day last Saturday celebrating National Lacemaking Day 2026 💫
Since 2020 we have been marking this special day with a commemorative bobbin however this year we're sorry to have missed the celebrations. This was due to family matters throwing a bit of a googly in the works during the week leading up to September 12th which is when Ben would have been making this year's bobbin.
For 2023 we offered the commemorative bobbins in the photo. They are inscribed with the date and 'National Lacemaking Day' and are decorated with Queen Anne's Lace flower heads and have lacey carved ruffles at the top & the bottom of the bobbin.
If anyone wishes to order one for 2026 we will be making them in this same design with either a 🩷deep pink inscription or a 💜lilac inscription.
To order, comment below or message us or send us an email and please state your colour preference with you order😊

There's a Pot of Gold at the end of every rainbow, so the folklore tale goes. The Irish legend tells how the fairy Leprechauns unearthed a pot of treasure that had been buried deep in the ground following an Irish invasion by the Vikings, which they then reburied in a secret location.
According to folklore, the rainbow acts as a magical marker hiding the hidden treasure's location - which can never be found!
Our Pot of Gold bobbin has rainbow coloured raindrops and a pot at the bottom for the gold coins that are inside the bobbin🌈

Apologies for the delay in replying to your messages on this post but we've been out on an early road trip collecting bobbin bones this morning🚗 Back at bobbining now!

No prizes for guessing when Janet has her birthday!
June's Birth Flowers are Rose & Honeysuckle which together symbolize love, devotion, affection and happiness.
Thank you very much Janet for sending a great photo of your very happily-spangled June Birth Flower bobbin! 😍

We love a Sweet Pea and we still have a few blooms going in the garden!
They are great inspiration for making pretty lace bobbins and pins and this fresh mix of colours along with the Sweet Pea Bouquet bobbin (2nd from left) were new for 2026💜🩵🩷💙🤍

Everybody begins at the beginning. Including Tony as a bobbin maker back in the 1970's! He had a gentle sense of humour and this 'L Plates' bobbin was one of his early designs.
These bobbins were popular with the lacemakers starting to learn lacemaking, with the guidance and support of their teachers. Let's hear it for the lace teachers 🙏🌏🌎🌍
