It’s been a super busy few weeks stripping furniture, cutting out templates, sewing and overlocking and quoting for jobs 😴
But, this weekend I took a time out to attend the Festival of Upholstery. Attended some great talks, sat in on a live podcast, watched some fabulous demonstrations and admired some beautiful pieces of furniture!
It was great to make new connections and talk with suppliers about the strides being made in sustainability and innovation (and maybe getting rid of the awful fire resistant chemicals we are forced to use!). Really wonderful to see the excellent qualities of British wool being put to use 🐑
All in all a great and informative weekend and lots of food for thought for the future.
