I create a lot of test prints when developing my creative pieces and also need to clean my rollers when inking up my plates. I end up with beautiful papers of colour plus lots of small bits of excellent quality paper. I don’t like to waste it at all and so often use them in another way. Making new paper and other paper patchwork creations.

Four buff tailed bee prints hot off the roller! One has a little chine colle (that’s where you add additional paper with glue on top of the plate before printing) to give the yellow. I used a piece of a botanical gel print on rice paper from a previous printing session. Can you work out which one that is?
