A family favourite – crab apple jelly! ✨

We’ve all got a tree in our garden, so at some point in September you’ll find us all standing over a large pan of sugar-laden juice waiting (for what seems like forever) for it to reach 104.5°C.

It’s worth the wait! It makes a delicious condiment with chicken and cheeses.

I’ve still got some more crab apples on the tree... I might just have to make a second batch!

This Friday I debut my 80s-inspired supper club, cooked and hosted by me in my home at Cicely House.

I’ve loved planning and taste-testing the menu to make sure each dish delivers on flavour - with a few surprises along the way.

It’s an intimate BYOB dinner for eight, with an eclectic old-school 80s playlist as a backdrop and a handful of nostalgic touches. The emphasis is firmly on having a marvellous time. I’ve always felt that good food is the perfect vehicle for conversation, so whether you come on your own or bring a friend, you’ll feel completely at home.
