What a week 🌸🏇

We’ve officially completed our first Chester races if the 2026 race season

People often see the finished flowers, but there’s so much that goes on behind the scenes before a single arrangement reaches the racecourse.

It starts with buying… checking colours, quality and making sure every stem is perfect for such a big event. Then comes conditioning all the flowers properly so they’re hydrated, fresh and ready to work with.

After that, the real challenge begins… finding space in the shop for buckets and buckets of flowers everywhere 😂

Then the creating starts — long days of arranging, wiring, packing and making sure every design feels special. Once everything is ready, it’s carefully loaded up for transport and a few games of Tetris to fit it all in the vans!

At the venue it’s all hands on deck for setting up, styling, adjusting and those final checks to make sure every arrangement looks just right before guests arrive.

And then… once the event is over… the less glamorous side of floristry returns: the mountain of vases waiting to be washed 🫠

It’s been exhausting, exciting and incredibly rewarding all at once, and we’re so proud to have been part of such an iconic Chester event ❤️

It's that exciting time of year again when the sun starts to shine and the race season begins! We are busy getting ready for the first race of the season next week with Chester Racecourse ❤️

The first job is creating the planted arrangements. The shop floor transformed from a sea of trays of plants to a forest of gorgeous planted arrangements ready to line to hallways and decorate the tables of the tented village
