My latest stained glass make, sandwiched between two frames and mounted on display blocks. Even in a grey wet day like today it brings in the light. My most complicated piece yet. It’s not perfect but it’s mine.

How cute are these guys?! I cannot believe I’ve not previously make gonks, my house is full of them!
Crochet body and hat with faux fur beard and wooden nose. I used 4ply yarn with a 3mm hook. I love them!

Yarn is my first love but fabric has always lurked not far behind. I’m nowhere near proficient with sewing (the not so small ones scout badges show that to good effect) but no sew kinusaiga is sewing free and becoming an addiction 🙂🙂 These are my two makes this week - the one on the left was a precut kit from Etsy and really fun to make. I’m planning to make a few more design to add to my Christmas fair stock.

It’s been ages since I posted. I blame the energy sapping weather 🥵 I have been busy though. Several baby blankets finished!

Finished blanket! Variegated yarn in double front post v stitch creates a dense texture and weighty blanket. Perfect size for snuggling up on the sofa when the cold weather returns. Aran weight wool and 6mm hook.
