Finished blanket! Variegated yarn in double front post v stitch creates a dense texture and weighty blanket. Perfect size for snuggling up on the sofa when the cold weather returns. Aran weight wool and 6mm hook.

No yarn involved today. Copper Foiling Stained Glass Day. This is the third time I’ve been and the most complicated piece I’ve made. I love it, the focus needed just blocks everything else out.

Finished! Finally! Guess who’s a happy boy this morning?! It’s taken a while but Dobby is finished, notice he has a sock because in our house, house elves are free elves. Made using the pattern in the Harry Potter Crochet Wizardry pattern book, Pebble Haze yarn and a 3mm hook.

Every year I go to the and buy some mini skeins, they all go into a bag, get mixed up and pulled out randomly to make this blanket. Cannot wait to buy more tomorrow to add to it!

It’s finished! I love this blanket. Made from my 2024 advent from called Phantasm using 3.5mm hook. This has been my portable project for the most part and will forever remind me of our amazing holiday in Ireland last year. Now I can start using my 2025 advent yarn 😉
