Architex felt backed vinyl is great choice in this situation.

Remove the existing layers of poorly prepared flooring.

Apply a coat of suitable smoothing compound.

Cut, glue and lay the new vinyl planks.

LVT (vinyl plank) staircase…it can be done! We have transformed a very tired and cat clawed carpet into a stairway to heaven. It’s not fast, it’s not cheap, but it’s very good 👌

Amtico Signature Parquet in a combination of 3 colour designs in two different sizes, certainly tested our skills. Additionally, we had a challenging floor preparation to overcome across 3 different levels including underfloor heating. The results definitely worth all the hard work, a beautiful new floor
