Good morning, how’s your week going? Good I hope.

Mine has been busy with lots of painting, messaging, gluing and a post run with the first batch of Christmas pieces on their way!

I am going to be working as many evenings as possible and at my desk most days as I am incredible lucky to have such a supportive customer backing who are keeping me so busy this season. Thank you so much everyone 🥰.

I’ll be quieter on here for a few weeks especially as half term is on the way but if you see me I’d love it if you said hello.

If you missed the deadline then don’t worry I have a range of ready painted pieces available direct from me and a range of pieces at the wonderful Alma Florence Hair Studio too 🥰. I’ll post a few of them over the coming weeks in case you’re looking for any gifts or a new decoration for your home.

Hello weekend! How are you going to spend yours? Sadly mine is going to be full of housework and tissues as I’m full of cold 😫. I hope you have something more exciting to do?

Today is the last day for orders this year (it’s very very unlikely I will be opening my order books again until mid December and then that will be for orders that are not needed until 2027.

Anyone who has messaged or emailed me with enquiries don’t worry I will be replying today 😊.

If you’ve not contacted me but would like to order please make sure you contact me today as I will be placing my supplier order tomorrow. (There is a teeny bit of wiggle room if you message me early tomorrow though).

To all who have ordered from me this year for Christmas or any other reason I wanted to say I am truly grateful for each and every order. I love what I do and I still can’t believe I have made so many pieces that hang in peoples homes and on peoples trees and will hopefully be loved for a long time. Surrounding ourselves with things that bring us joy is so good for us and it makes me smile every time someone chooses something I’ve made to have in their home.

For those of you who are fed up me banging on about closing dates as of tomorrow I will likely be a lot quieter on here as I’ll be painting like crazy to get all of your wonderful orders out in good time. I will pop in with work in progress posts and some random prettiness to brighten peoples feeds though too 🥰

Today I am mainly painting noses, hands, beards and moustaches along with holly and mini gingerbread men.

I mean in what other job would I get to type that!? 🥰🤪😂.

Do you gift money or vouchers at Christmas?

It always feels a bit impersonal putting it in a card doesn’t it? I’ve been looking for ways of making it feel more like a gift than a transaction and I think these money and gift card holders are fantastic. So many gorgeous designs available (there’s loads more options and not just for Christmas) and they are reusable as a decoration once the money has been removed. The note ones even have a front that can be attached to turn the money section into a name banner!

So, which of these style designs would you go for or gift?

So instead of posting a boring reminder about my order books closing on Saturday I thought I’d try to make a reel. Thankfully I’m better at painting than reels 😂.

However if you would like to order anything from this reel or any other items please let me know by Saturday evening.

If it’s possible I will reopen my order books but I don’t think it’s likely. I know it’s really early to be closing but there’s only me doing everything so it has to be this way. Thanks to all who have ordered already I am loving every painting day I get 🥰.

To counteract my grumpy post this morning about postage I thought I’d post about something much more joyful and that is that first Christmas with a new baby 🥰.

It feels so magical even though they have no idea what is going on and the sleep isn’t plentiful! I think it’s the potential for the magic in the coming years that makes it so special isn’t it? A time for everything to slow down and get time to really enjoy that new little one who is unaware of the magic that future Decembers hold 😍.

I love making new baby pieces and of course all sorts of themes can be chosen and personalised but these are my favourites that I think make incredible new baby baubles especially the puddings 🥰.

I’ve never made the mittens or big puddings into new baby pieces but I think they’d look gorgeous with first Christmas
