Sorry for being so quiet on here. Don’t know about you lovely people but the last two months have been a blur. We are at last knee deep in snow, 🤦🏼‍♀️ finishing more of these guys. Albeit a bit late with the Christmas making but I promise that I’m finally on it now! You’ll find this little fellow and lots of his friends at New Earswick Village Market this Sunday. If you don’t see this one and you’d like him, do ask as he might be hiding under the table due to limited space. We’ll be inside along with our Christmas Angels and Jewellery. Having missed a few months, we’re looking forward to being back here and seeing all our friends and visitors this Sunday.

10am - 2pm, New Earswick and District Bowls Club. Opposite St. Andrews Church, Huntington.

The wet weather quite possibly inspired these pieces. Can you believe that I’ve cut them from a random BLUE rose cup 💙. There were just few grey leaves repeated in the pattern and I managed to get 2 pairs. It’s not very often that we have any black or grey patterned pieces and I absolutely love how they’ve turned out! We’ll have them with us at Sheriff Hutton Village Market this Sunday. Sorry no pic of the cup - was so excited to cut it that I completely forgot to photograph it first! 🤦🏼‍♀️ Yeah, I know - again! It’s always the cup patterns that I know I’ll never find again as well 🤦🏼‍♀️ 🤭😂.

Well it’s back to indoor standings for September and we’ll be starting with Sheriff Hutton Village Market this Sunday - yes this Sunday! It’s one week earlier than our usual 3rd Sunday of the month. If you haven’t yet experienced this market, you really ought to! Loads of fabulous foodie stalls and highly skilled artisans both inside and out. Super excited and can’t wait to see everyone. 🥰🤗💝🎁🛍️

Well that’s another fabulous year of York River Art Market done. How lucky were we that the much needed rain held off until this week. We were thankful for just a couple of showers on the last day.

We had 3 wonderful weekends beside the river, meeting and chatting with all you lovely visitors from far and wide. We were truly spoilt this year with almost 50 stalls on most days - an additional 20 stalls of talent to choose from! Loads of little pieces of Andrea’s Attic heading home with their new owners and as far as Texas! Whilst loads of little pieces made by fellow artists found their way home with me - oh how I love to shop at YRAM too 😊. As always it was the most vibrant and friendly place to spend our weekends. Being surrounded by our lovely talented river art market family is the cherry on top of the ice cream and we so enjoyed meeting new artists again this year too. Thank you all for your support, encouragement and being part of our journey.

A little note to say a big thank you to Caroline of for giving us 2026 and congratulations on curating and organising such a fabulous 6 day event for your 1st year of YRAM. You did yourself, us, our fellow artists and York proud!

Note to self for 2027 - must take more photos in between the chats and shopping! We just get so caught up in the fun of the moment that we forget - oops! 🤦🏼‍♀️🤭

We’ll be taking a short break over the next few weeks for much needed rest and recharge. Before we know it we’ll be back at the workbench replenishing pieces for our September standings and of course making a start on the winter home decor pieces. Notice that we didn’t mention the C word yet 😉. Now we might be quiet for a little while but not for too long. Enjoy the refreshing rain everyone whilst we have it as we could be heading for another heatwave come September!

Feeling very happy that the rain held off yesterday. There were a few very dark clouds but we managed to get packed up and actually offload the car before the heavens opened. The rain didn’t last long but there’s nothing worse than loading a soggy parasol into the car at the end of a day - well apart from a soggy commercial gazebo 😂. In case you didn’t hear our song and dance as we left, for the first time EVER we weren’t the last to finish packing up and we left Laura Joy Design | Illustrator & Maker , Lincoln Lightfoot , and Bejojo Art, Illustration & Design still dismantling displays. We’re always the last 4 and get this, I’m pretty sure we even beat . There were loads still packing up when we departed. Don’t ask us how we managed that as we’re still baffled 😂🤣😂. Here’s hoping we can manage it again for our last standing and final day of York River Art Market this Sunday. Your last chance to experience the Parisian Vibe of York River Art Market until 2027! 🤗
