Lovely ladies of Sheriff Hutton, New Earswick and surrounding areas. listen up! This is the last month you’ll catch us at these 2 wonderful village markets until the Autumn.

As much as I love attending markets and chatting with you all, I’m having to be a bit stricter on myself for a while. If you can’t make it to either of these markets, we’ll be at the Bramble Berry Haxby Market on 20th June (New for 2026!) and then we’ll be having a quiet time replenishing stock for our one and only date in July at the fabulous Bishy Road Bazaar (Also new for 2026!) and of course my 3 Sundays at York River Art Market in August. If you’re local and hoping to gift someone a little piece of Andrea’s Attic in the meantime, but can’t make it to my other events, you can still message me to arrange a collection and we’ll do our best to find you that perfect gift.

Stay well everyone and enjoy the summer months. Do check in from time to time to see our summer collections. We’ll do our best to keep up with our social media presence. Xx

I’ve been taking another peek at my tiny haul after a four-hour trek through the Carboot last Saturday. I forced myself to explore everything, even though I usually only manage to cover one field before everyone starts packing up - and I was there from 7:30am! Since I hadn’t even filled a small bag, my anxiety started to creep in. I think I subconsciously remembered my new rule (2025): only buy items I’m sure I’ll use within six months. Storage is tight, so I’m still trying to declutter my shed, getting rid of things that no longer excite me. I returned home feeling a bit disappointed; I didn’t find a single retro pattern from the brand I dread cutting but that you all love 😂. Or maybe I was just exhausted after pushing through every stall — those that hadn’t already packed up.

Looking back at my tiny haul, I absolutely love it. Each piece fuels my excitement to mask up and start cutting again next week, if not sooner. But check out the second picture! How stunning is this green Limoges cup? It will definitely fill the green gap and has that perfect retro vibe. Whether I can bring myself to cut into her remains to be seen — she’s simply gorgeous. Here’s hoping I find some other lovely greens in the meantime.

Despite the Bank Holiday Monday rain arriving a day early, we were thrilled to see so many of you at the New Earswick Village Market. The genuine Yorkshire folk who ventured out are the best, and the atmosphere was fantastic thanks to our visitors, makers, and the tireless market volunteers and organisers.

It was fantastic to catch up with previous clients at Andrea’s Attic and, of course, the amazing - this one is working her way through the menu and doing a great job! Haven’t found a favourite cake yet - they’re all too delicious.

Apologies for the slow pack-up; the last few weekends have taken their toll.

Time for some notes to self: more photography prior to selling, pacing, and squeeze in more breaks.

Happy Sunny Monday everyone! After a fantastic long weekend at Portal to Past, I’m feeling refreshed and inspired. I spent the weekend socialising meeting new friends, and marveling at all of you dressed in stunning vintage styles. Note to self: next time, remember to snap photos! Some of you truly outdid yourselves - with incredible outfits, hair, and makeup that transported us straight to a 1940s/50s Vogue cover. It was a feast for the eyes! 🥰

Our Willow and black-and-white pieces, along almost sold out. The Bears - completely gone (random, I know! 😂). Only one Willow bracelet and a pair of black-and-white earrings remain until I find more suitable teacups of that kind for cutting. Wish me luck at the car boot this weekend - finding Willow (the non-mass-produced and blurred type) is always a challenge, but I love a good hunt!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by my stall, especially those of you who came with a mission to find that next special piece from Andrea’s Attic. Your support, especially from returning customers, truly means the world. To celebrate our near sell-out of black and white, I brought home a stunning 1950s black-and-white beauty. As soon as I saw her (BagLady-D), I knew she had to be mine—thank you, Diane!

Big thanks also to our lovely stall neighbour friends, whose company made the weekend even more enjoyable: Jane of , Fiona of , Audra of , Laura of , Gill and Mark of .north.vintage , and Paul of .blog .

Next up, we’ll be at the first of our two May markets at New Earswick Village Market this Sunday. Can’t wait to see you there and share more vintage treasures!

Coffee cups have certainly dominated April… and guess what, another awesome ‘first’ find! Managed to cut some earrings and a pendant, though the cup I have displayed at has a nasty hairline crack too, meaning more treasures to come, like bracelets...
