I’m Nick, and I have lived in York all my life. After leaving school at 16, I went straight into the flooring trade, whereby I learned to fit on-site with 3 very skilled floor layers. I eventually acquired the knowledge & skills to create my own business. I am a certified Quickstep Master installer, specialising in carpets, vinyls and laminates. I have over 20 years of experience. I pride myself in offering a friendly, reliable and professional service, making choosing a floor to suit the customer easy and stress free! There is a large variety of flooring options available to suit every customer‘s needs. I specialise in carpets, vinyls and laminate flooring. I know what looks good and what will work well for a specific space. I offer a home selection service, whereby I can visit you at a convenient time with a range of samples to suit your requirements and budget. I can then advise accordingly. I can supply and install the flooring to the highest standard, dealing with subfloor preparation if required. I deal with a wide variety of manufacturers, so I can source most brand names in flooring, offering you plenty to choose from.

Involved quickstep impressive laminate job supplied & fitted today, old ceramic tile adhesive to grind up 1st, then level the subfloor to join onto the existing dining room without lifting the floor level too much and keeping costs down to a minimum!! Finished results looking well!

Striped stairs and landing carpet supplied and fitted today!! Customers old carpet was nailed straight to the staircase, felt abit different underfoot after id left 👍🏻

Stair runner made to the customers sizes supplied and fitted today, Abingdon Royal Windsor carpet on trediare ambience underlay, customer was pleased with the finshed result!

Involved bathroom today……customer needed damaged ceramic tiles removed, old adhesive grinded up and the floor building back up to level with 9mm ply so the suite went back in as it came out, the new vinyl flooring gave a good finish!!

Big job this week, full downstairs supply & fit in quickstep impressive laminate flooring, subfloor wasn’t great and limited budget for prep so the correct flooring choice was crucial !
