Final training course of the year is underway!

It's been a long time coming but as always it's good to be back in the training room and it's a nice change of pace from travelling around the country all hours of the day 😜

As shown in a previous post we've shuffled the room around which is absolutely loads better to work/train in. Wish we'd done this from the start 😅 but you live and learn.

Bit of a different first day compared to normal, a bit more chill than usual but never a bad thing when the rest of the week will be hard graft 💪

A lot more training content to come this week with the final class of 2022 🚀

So.... as the old saying goes all good things must come to an end 😢

As you can imagine this has not been an easy decision... we've put so much time and effort getting our HQ ready for our training courses - for a long time we didn't even call it our HQ or office we always referred to it as "AOS Academy", because the driving force behind getting the building was so that we could train up our network of AOS approved partners.

Now we have done that. Over 150+ partners nationwide who are ready to go on any job, anytime, anywhere in the country.

Our in house training course has done what we've set out to achieve and more - the network of AOS approved partners is stronger than ever and brought so many great people into the fold that we're proud to work alongside 🙌

I am, from the bottom of my heart truly grateful for anyone that decided to join us on this journey - I never in my wildest dreams thought when starting my business I would have my own training school 🤯 Pretty ironic really for a guy that hated school 😆

Ideally we could carry our in house courses indefinitely but due to delivering the courses personally, company growth and projects both committedited and planned we cannot spare as many days as we used to be able to for our training courses, plus if you've visited AOS HQ recently you'll see we need the space! Announcement before christmas what we will be using the space for 🤐

All the training equipment will be getting sold - AOS partners will get first dibs.

Sometimes people walk in to your life and don’t stop until they’ve proved they deserve a seat at your table….

In all honesty, I am so used to people trying hard to get close to get what they can and just take take take. So much so I’m completely at peace with that.

Im a natural born giver. (Got my mum to blame for that one 😅) - but anyone that knows me, properly will tell you I’d give the shirt off my back to someone if I thought it would help them.

Since developing our training I’ve met loads of people…..

Some come and realise this industry is not for them….

Some come and then go implement what they learn in their own business…..

Some will come and not click with me, or buy into what I’m doing with AOS or May even go away thinking I’m arrogant because I talk about what we do with such conviction and confidence….

Some come, try follow up on it all and get caught up in the rat race and simply don’t have time…..

Some come and go away and try everything in their power to progress in the smart home industry.

People like .

Dean came on our classroom training with , a week later he then enrolled on on our online training.

Since doing that he’s implemented every last word of what I teach and levelled up not only himself, but his staff and got them doing the online training too!

He’s then kept in contact, asking for ANYs opportunity he can for experience. Travelling the country to work with us.

HELPING other partners on projects passing onto them what he’s learnt.

I don’t have a magic wand. I can’t work miracles.

But for people that show up, work hard and show me how much they want this….. I’ll bend over backwards for. And that’s a fact.

Deans done our classroom and online training.

HOWEVER - last week we put him on his Control4 training and he is now a qualified programmer.

We also sorted him his PCNA training which is almost complete and he’s just embarking on his Lutron Homework’s QS ready to help us on more projects.

I don’t do hand outs. Never have, never will.

But for people like Dean…. Who is the epitome of EVERYTHING I set out to find when I built my partner network… the world is your oyster.
