🏆 WE GOT THE GOLD! 🏆

The results are in, and we are officially Gold Medal winners at the RHS Malvern Spring Festival! 🥇✨

From the first sketch to the final leaf arrangement, it’s been an incredible journey. Huge thanks to the team for their tireless work and to everyone who has supported us along the way.

We’re over the moon! Come and visit us at IPG4 in the Festival of Houseplants marquee 🌿

The judges have spoken! 🌿✨

The RHS judges have officially finished their rounds of the Indoor Plant Gardens here at Spring Festival 2026. The level of design this year is off the charts, but you’ll have to wait until tomorrow for the results!!!

What a weekend! We are still buzzing from the Harrogate Flower Show, where we were thrilled to bring home a Gold Award for our main display and we are incredibly proud that our own 11-year-old rising star, Molly, absolutely smashed it, taking home a Silver Gilt Award! 🥇🥈

As we prepare for the final stage of our departure from Walmgate, and to clear our remaining shop floor space, we are now offering up to 40% OFF everything, today and tomorrow!

We’ve been busy shuffling and restructuring the business to focus on exciting new projects, private commissions, and future retail possibilities.

🌿 We aren’t going anywhere, we’re just evolving, and we look forward to seeing you at our upcoming shows, including our indoor garden at RHS Malvern and The Great Yorkshire Show in July. 🌿

Come by, say a final farewell to our Walmgate home, and help us clear the shelves as we prepare for these next adventures. 👋

Not ready to say goodbye? Neither are we! 🌿

We have some blooming marvellous news, our time on Walmgate isn’t over just yet. We’re sticking around at No. 27 for one more month!

Whether you’ve been eyeing up a trailing pothos or need a statement fiddle-leaf fig, you’ve got a little more time to come and say hi before we move! We have updated our hours for this final month, so please take note of the new times below:

BIG NEWS from Botanic York - one we’ve been sitting with for a little while now, and the time finally feels right to share it.

What better way to mark the moment than with a gorgeous new spring window display by the incredibly talented - come and have a look!

At the end of March, we’ll be closing the doors to our little shop on Walmgate. But don’t panic, we are absolutely not going anywhere! Honestly, there’s so much to look forward to and we couldn’t be more ready for it.

Botanic York is very much alive and this change feels right and if we’re honest, the building being sold helped make the decision a little clearer. The restrictions of the space have been something we’ve navigated for a while, and this felt like the natural moment to take the leap.

We’re mixing things up and changing with the times. Same beautiful plants, same passion for helping you make your home, office, shop, café or space feel luscious, green and full of life - just a shift in our journey. We’re in talks about some exciting new retail spots (details coming soon, we promise!) and you’ll already find us popping up at The Balloon Tree Farm Shop & Cafe in Gate Helmsley Field House Camping & Coffee Barn in Driffield, with more venues on the way.

Botanic on tour… Well, it’s about to get bigger and better. With more time and energy to dedicate to shows, we’ll be at Harrogate Spring Flower Show in April and RHS Malvern in May, and we are so excited! If you’ve never caught us at a show before, come and say hi! There will be more to come here...

Online, plant styling, workshops, plants for your business, event or office and all the advice that comes with it, all of it is continuing and growing. We’re not scaling back, we’re moving forward.

The shop on Walmgate has been such a special place. The chats, the plant advice, the people who’ve popped in week after week and become so much more than customers - you’ve made it something really beautiful, and we’re carrying all of that with us as we step into this exciting new chapter.

So this isn’t a goodbye. Not even close.
