We would like you to start your sewing journey of 2026 without any sewing issues.
Just so you know, we’re always here to help.🤩

Would you like an overlocker and don’t know where to start?🫣
Have you got an overlocker and you struggle to thread it? 😔
Does your thread break, just after spending ages tying on new thread colours?😖
Are you frustrated at having to adjust the tensions every time you use it, or when changing threads or sewing on different fabric types?😒
You say “I now only EVER use one colour of thread!”🧐

For some reason it seems that we have less time on our hands to be creative. When we do want to be creative, we would like to wear what we’ve made sooner than late. We would like to thank all of you for supporting our family bricks and mortar business in the heart of the city centre of York. It means so much to us.

Our team don’t very often get time to sew, however when we do, we tend to pick the most difficult of fabrics to sew or the most intricate of sewing patterns to construct. This is what has given us a vast range of knowledge that we just love to share with you our customers in store.
If you are looking for something new to create in 2026, come and see us, we are always happy to share our many years of knowledge and experience. If you’re new to sewing or you were honoured with a new sewing machine for Christmas, please take advantage of our emporium of sewing supplies and our knowledgeable team.
