A lovely installation from earlier this year.

The customer wanted to replace three traditional timber windows with something that retained the character of the property, but without the maintenance that comes with real wood.

We fitted three Residence Collection R7 flush sash windows, giving a very traditional timber-style appearance while benefiting from modern UPVC performance.

We also installed a lovely barn-style composite rear door by Distinction, complete with a cat flap, which suited the property perfectly.

The results speak for themselves:
• Traditional timber-style appearance
• Improved thermal efficiency
• Much lower maintenance
• No regular painting or treating
• Excellent long-term durability

We also re-fitted two upstairs windows that had unfortunately not been installed correctly by previous installers, and retrospectively fitted trickle vents to some of the existing windows.

Needless to say, the customer was very happy with the finished job.

If you love the appearance of traditional timber windows but want something warmer, lower maintenance and built for modern living, timber-look flush sash windows are well worth considering.

These lovely uPVC windows from Eurocell suit the property perfectly and what a fantastic colour choice!

A recent full-house transformation completed in York.
We replaced all the windows and doors throughout the property, as well as converting the existing lean-to shelter into a fully enclosed, usable space.
New energy-efficient UPVC windows, new entrance doors and a much more practical use of the existing side area, all finished to suit the property.
