Coinciding with the opening weekend of the Ilkley Literature Festival, drop into our annual 'Inspiration Exhibition' and immerse yourself in the world of story-led textile craft!
Meet two extraordinary artists and discover how they breathe life and narratives into thread and recycled wool:
🧵 Aneeta Seshan – Free motion embroidery illustrator whose detailed pieces use thousands of stitches to capture everyday life and local Yorkshire heritage. Plus, get an exclusive sneak preview of her illustrations for Duttons for Buttons' 120th anniversary book.
🧶 Jessica Jenyns – Needle felting artist who reimagines second-hand wool into detailed, nature-inspired artwork celebrating British Isles wildlife and landscapes.

Design & Carve: Turn your ideas into a custom lino block.
Print: Test on paper, then stamp directly onto fabric.
Stitch: Add vibrant colour and texture with simple embroidery.
