A recent commission for the coffee shop in
A real pleasure to work with Rebecca and create this collection of warm tones to fit with her beautiful new book and coffee shop.
I also love the holding court on the coffee shop wall, what a treat of a space!

I am very excited to be able to say that I’ll be taking part in this year’s London Craft week featuring these ‘Iona’ vases I made for Stellar Editions…. A little bit about the event…

Stellar Editions is delighted to announce its participation in London Craft Week, taking place from 13 to 17 May 2026. The brand will present a curated collection of unique and collectible pieces created in collaboration with emerging and established makers working across a range of disciplines, including sculpture, ceramics and marquetry.

Titled From Material to Masterpiece, the exhibition explores how raw materials such as stone, clay and wood are transformed into timeless, masterfully crafted works.

On Friday 15 May from 13.00 to 17.00, visitors will have the opportunity to meet six of the featured makers, who will join Stellar Editions to share their journeys, techniques and sources of inspiration.

Set within The Chelsea Townhouse, the exhibition offers an intimate setting for discovering contemporary collectible design. It would be an absolute pleasure to welcome you.

Loving the sunshine on the pots in the studio. Forever chasing this pooling of my yellow glaze and searching for the perfect level of ‘satin-ness’ of the North Sea Blue mugs.

Looking forward to getting back on the wheel this week and making more of my standard ware

Teal oil pourers with new beaded corks!

I enjoyed the colour of the brick alongside the green here, always drawn to that orange red and green pairing. Perhaps it’s the rust and green paint from dad’s old workshop sifting through in my mind.
Anyway, new improved oil pourers now in stock in the shop

Brooches.

I didn’t think making brooches would become something so rewarding! These days I don’t get the change to play or experiment very often. And sometimes even making my larger one off pieces requires more time or energy than I have to spare.

Brooches have become a really manageable way for me to try new textures, techniques and finishes. It feeds into the larger task of testing but in a more beautiful and usable way.

These are a few of the current brooches I’ve just put pins on. Particularly loving the coloured clay in reduction ones aswell as the very melty iron ones!

How exciting!! My work is now stocked and in the new shop. It’s a real honour to have my work in here, it’s such a historic and inspiring place , somewhere I’ve been visiting since I was little.
I’m absolutely in love with the layout here, the way colours in each product are placed with so much care next to other complimentary colours. So pleased to be next to A Foragers Table , a fab book written by our friends , too. It really is a beautiful display, it’s so nice to see what other people do my with work.

Castle Howard opens for the season this week and I’m looking forward to having a few trips there this summer.

Porcelain teacups and saucers are back in stock just in time for the sunlight to break through the clouds. Due to the translucent nature of porcelain, and how fine these cups are, light almost appears to emit from within the cup itself. They make me feel spring like and lighter some how.

I don’t make them all that often but every time I do I enjoy the process immensely. It requires a lot more focus and time than usual mugs but I think it’s worth it.

I went to the vegetable market this morning and bought forced rhubarb and blood oranges. Very glad there’s some colourful produce around at this time of year to brighten things up a bit! Ill make a rhubarb frangipane and just eat the oranges at they are. Maybe I’ll keep them in this bowl for a little bit!

I’m making in full production mode at the moment for lots of wholesale and private orders, it’s nice to be in the swing of things. Just wish my audiobook listening hours were endless!
