თბილისის არქიტექტურის ბიენალეს რიგით მესამე გამოშვების გახსნა სანატორიუმ “ქართლში” გაიმართა. მესამე გამოშვების მთავარი თემაა - დროებითობა, რომელმაც განსაზღვრა სანატორიუმი “ქართლი”, როგორც არამუდმივობის კვლევის საგანი.
“ქართლი” საბჭოთა არქიტექტურის ერთ-ერთი გამორჩეული მაგალითია, რომელიც თბილისის ზღვის მახლობლად მდებარეობს და როგორც სანატორიუმი ისე აშენდა. თავდაპირველად დროებითი თავშესაფარი, 30 წელზე მეტია რაც აფხაზეთიდან დევნილი ადამიანების საცხოვრებლად იქცა. ახლა კი, “ქართლის” მაცხოვრებლები განმეორებითი გადაადგილების წინაშე არიან - დევნილთა გრძელვადიანი საცხოვრებელი ფართით უზრუნველყოფის პროცესები ახლაც მიმდინარეობს.
გახსნის ღონისძიება სწორედ ქართლის მაცხოვრებლებთან ერთად დაიგეგმა და იგი რამდენიმე აქტივობა გააერთიანა: ფოტო გამოფენა, ხის ვორქშოფი, ფილმის ჩვენებები და ციფრული პროექტები.

The opening event of the Tbilisi Architecture Biennial was held at sanatorium "Kartli", where IDPs from Abkhazia have lived for more than 30 years. Now a dilapidated building, is one of the outstanding examples of soviet architecture, which is located near Tbilisi Sea and was initially built as a sanatorium.
The main theme of this edition of the biennial is temporality, which defined the sanatorium "Kartli" as the subject of research on impermanence.
“Kartli”, a temporary shelter, has become a home for displaced people from Abkhazia for more than 30 years. and now, the residents of "kartli" are facing repeated displacement - the process of providing long-term living space for displaced people is still ongoing.
The opening event was planned together with the residents of “kartli” and it consisted of several components: Photo exhibition, Wooden workshop, film screenings and digital projects.
