Lately, I keep getting the same message:

“I have a book I want to write… but I have no idea where to start.”

And every time I read it, I think about how not that long ago, my own book was just an idea stirring in my heart too. 🤍

I had to figure out how to take that idea and turn it into an actual book I could hold in my hands… and then somehow that little book became an Amazon #1 Best Seller and opened doors I never expected.

And it has me wondering if maybe everything I learned along the way isn’t supposed to stop with my book.

So I’m thinking about creating something new.

A simple, step-by-step course where I walk alongside you from the book idea in your head all the way to a real, published book on Amazon… plus everything I’ve learned about launching, marketing, and getting free press once it’s out in the world.

No promises of making $10,000 overnight. No magic formula.

Just the publishing bestie I wish I’d had when I started. 🤍

She’s 10 years old, she loves to crochet… and my daughter is officially in her small business era. 🥹🐔🧶

Bara Faith has been working those little hands to make these crocheted egg-gathering aprons based on the viral pattern from The Homemade Mothers, and both adult and child size aprons are finally listed in her own Etsy shop!

Each one is completely handmade by her, which means no two will ever be exactly alike. There may be a slightly wonky stitch here or there, but I think that’s part of what makes them so special. 💗

And I can tell you there is nothing quite like watching your child create something with her own two hands and then proudly put it out into the world. 🥹

I still laugh every time I see a chicken throw dirt all over herself and somehow come out cleaner than before. 🤣

Dust bathing is a chicken’s version of dry shampoo. The fine dust helps absorb excess oils, keeps feathers healthy, and can even help discourage mites and other external parasites.

So if you’re new to chickens and spot some laying in a dirt hole looking completely unhinged, don’t panic. They’re just at the spa with their girlfriends. 🐔✨

🎉 What a week it has been! On Tuesday I launched my book on Amazon, by Wednesday evening, it became a #1 Best Seller in my category! 😭😭😭 And in another category, it sat 2 spots away from THE Martha Stewart and her new book! 🤯
