🙏For me, Gijduvan Crafts Center became exactly such a place. 🤍 Gijduvan Ceramics Museum
I had the honor to spend one unforgettable day there, surrounded by centuries of tradition, art, warmth, and human connection. It was a dream for me to finally learn and experience the traditional painting techniques of Uzbekistan — something I had admired for so long.
Meeting the great master Abdullo Narzullaev was truly one of the most meaningful moments of my journey in Uzbekistan. He welcomed me with such kindness and generosity that I immediately felt at home. We shared stories about ceramics, life, creativity, and our artistic journeys, and it touched me deeply to hear his thoughts about my own works. Receiving such warm appreciation from a master whose family has preserved this incredible heritage for generations was a huge honor for me.
The Gijduvan Crafts Center is not simply a museum or workshop — it is a living world of art. You can see traditional wheel-throwing techniques, ancient firing methods, old kilns still working the historical way, natural glazes being prepared, and the daily rhythm of artisans continuing traditions passed down through centuries.
The atmosphere of Gijduvan is peaceful, authentic, and incredibly inspiring. During my visit, I saw travelers from many different countries coming to experience this unique place and witness the real daily life of artisans. It is truly a place where you do not only observe art — you live inside it.
I left with a heart full of gratitude, inspiration, and respect.
