Κιουτάχεια - Κεραμικό Πιάτο δεκαετίας 1930 (Φάληρο Αττικής)

Όπως θα βρείτε στις φωτογραφίες στα σχόλια η βάση φέρει τη υπογραφή "Κιουτάχεια" μαζί με τη σήμανση "MADE IN GREECE" και τον αριθμό "No 136".

Αυτή η χαρακτηριστική υπογραφή αντικατοπτρίζει την κληρονομιά των δεξιοτεχνών αγγειοπλαστών που εγκατέλειψαν το φημισμένο κεραμικό κέντρο της Κιουτάχειας στις αρχές του 20ού αιώνα. Ιδρύοντας ιστορικά εργαστήρια στην Αθήνα και τον Πειραιά, οι πρόσφυγες τεχνίτες κράτησαν ζωντανή τη μακραίωνη τέχνη τους, δημιουργώντας αριστουργήματα που συνδύαζαν τις πατροπαράδοτες τεχνικές τους με τη νέα τους πατρίδα.

🇬🇷 Παρουσιάζουμε μια νέα προσθήκη στη συλλογή μας, ένα ηλιόλουστο, ιμπρεσιονιστικό τοπίο του Κωνσταντίνου Ρωμανίδη (1884–1972).

Μαθητής του Λύτρα και του Βολανάκη, ο καλλιτέχνης ζωντανεύει ένα μεσογειακό τοπίο, παραδίδοντας μάθημα απόδοσης του ελληνικού φωτός.

Σήμερα, μέσα από ένα σπάνιο κάδρο που βρέθηκε στο κατάστημά μας, σας μεταφέρουμε τη συγκινητική ιστορία της Πριγκίπισσας Αλεξάνδρας της Ελλάδας.

Μια κοπέλα γλυκιά, αγαπητή και γεμάτη ζωή, που σε ηλικία μόλις 19 ετών άφησε την Ελλάδα για να παντρευτεί τον Μέγα Δούκα Παύλο της Ρωσίας και να μπει στον αμύθητο πλούτο των Ρωμανόφ. Όμως, το "παραμύθι" της επισκιάστηκε γρήγορα. Από το πικρό βάρος μιας προίκας που πλήρωσε από το υστέρημά του ο φτωχός ελληνικός λαός, μέχρι τη μοναξιά και τη μελαγχολία στην παγωμένη Ρωσία, η Αλεξάνδρα έσβησε τραγικά και πρόωρα, σε ηλικία μόλις 21 ετών, φέρνοντας στον κόσμο το δεύτερο παιδί της.

Το βλέμμα της σε αυτή την προσωπογραφία παραμένει μελαγχολικό, αλλά η μνήμη της ζει αιώνια στην καθημερινότητα της Αθήνας: στη Λεωφόρο που περπατάμε και στο Μαιευτήριο που χτίστηκε προς τιμήν της, ως φόρος τιμής σε μια μητέρα που χάθηκε τόσο νέα.

Αυτό είναι το πάθος που μοιραζόμαστε στις Αντίκες Αχταμονώφ: να διασώζουμε και να αφηγούμαστε τις αληθινές ιστορίες των ανθρώπων πίσω από τα σπάνια ευρήματα και αντικείμενα που μας περιβάλλουν.
