Back in 2016, the Somamba founder members had a simple idea, to offer a great variety of smartphone cases, building a small product unit. After many months of design, investigation of materials and engineering experiments, we started our e-shop, allowing our customers to choose from a great variety of products, which is constantly improving and increasing. Our customers can choose case among many
materials, engineered with patience and imagination. We, at Somamba, are trying not only to offer already-crafted products but also to offer the customer the chance personalize depending on their needs and taste. Natural wood: These cases are 100% natural wood, engineered to perfection. The philosophy of Somamba is to protect the environment. Somamba obtains the wood veneers from producers that cultivate trees only for production of wooden products. We do not use wood veneers from trees that are good to the environment or from illegal logging. We offer cases consisted only from wood or cases with polycarbonate and wood, where we also print using UV printing different designs for any taste. The cases are an elegant addition, nice to touch and offer a classic charm to your smartphone. Natural Cork: We obtain our cork from production units in Portugal. The cork is carefully crafted with a fine texture and a variety of designs. The cork cases offer elegance, grace and uniqueness to your device. Cork resembles wood but is significantly lighter. Natural Leather: They are engineered with chosen Greek cow leathers, have been processed with a well established tanning procedure and embrace your phone. They offer elegance, individuality for your device. Carbon fiber: They are simple and elegant cases that offer very strong protection for your smartphone. Because of the variety of existing fibers, we at Somamba, have investigated, apart from carbon fiber, hybrid fibers that enhance the strength of the case for those that wish even more protection for their device. Celluloid: They are the cases that are more unique constructed from high quality celluloid that is used in the construction of musical instruments and furniture inlay. They offer the chance to the buyers to dress their phone with unique sea shell patterns while at the same time protecting it. Rhinestones: They are cases that bling, full of rhinestones, brooches and pearls. They are thin, transparent from TPU material, hand-crafted and add luxury to your phone. Polycarbonate: They are printed either on the upper part or they are printed also on the sides using 3D sublimation. Our artists have created a wide variety of designs or you can choose your own design. That was the beginning of the journey, and since then Somamba has strived to increase its range of quality products for each customer. Using the latest cutting edge hardware and software technologies, the Somamba team are constantly searching for and introducing new products to the range – however, at the same time we are conscious that quantity should not compromise quality.
