Breathing new life into a design classic. ✨

We recently had the pleasure of restoring this stunning "Bonsai" table lamp at AbajurHandmade. Designed by Josep Llusca for Blauet in the 1990s, its iconic cedar wood base—reminiscent of a tree trunk—is a true work of art.

The lamp arrived in our studio with a badly damaged shade, hiding the beauty of the original design. After a full restoration, it is glowing brighter and looking better than the day it left the manufacturer.

When we presented our curated fabric options, choosing just one proved impossible... so they decided to get two completely different shades to alternate throughout the year! 🍂☀️

The original cylindrical shade was heavily stained, worn, and showing its age—but the stunning wooden frame was ready for its comeback.
•. 💛 Option 1: The Warm Glow:
A beautiful, solid textured mustard-yellow linen shade. When lit, it casts a cozy, ambient glow perfect for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
•. 🌿 Option 2: The Botanical Bold:
A vibrant tropical leaf and floral print. When illuminated, the intricate patterns of the foliage come to life, bringing an energetic, summery, and nature-inspired pop to the room!
