Been working on this prototype wall sconce, that I had in my mind for the longest time!

This was part of a special raku firing, that is responsible for the black colour of the clay and the metallic shine of the glazes.

Every raku firing is a total gamble on the final glazed result.
But I got something quite close to the copper tones I intended and a smooth gradient towards the dark clay on the outer edge 😌

☀️ Solstice Stem Holder ☀️

I love vases and bouquets, but every stem is unique and beautiful.. Definitely deserves its own spot 😊

Weirdly enough, when I was designing this piece, I was thinking of summer..
Long dry grassy stems, moving with the summer breeze, turning golden under the setting sun ☀️
