Crafting a unique journey since 1995

Filamento is connected to this reality and recognizes the eternal importance of the everyday. We know that we all crave a space and place in this world. Space, place and time are mostly about objects and moments and even though objects are an inanimate, and moments are transient, they are undeniably part of who we are, defining our true selves, silent witnesses of our lives. Therefore, the need t

o create environments is consistent with our basic reality, and for this, rather than a specialist, we need a friend. A friend who understand, that more than a customer, we are complicated individuals with tastes, needs and quirks. We want spaces that define us: we want objects to be the truest reflection of what we are, where we stand and what are we made of. The value of an object is its essence, and essence is not, never could be, a replica. Just like we are unique, irreplicable beings. Filamento is a gallery that has the knowledge acquired by experience through the years. Our passion is design, our engine, the people who enjoy the good life and profess an irreductible appreciation for what is real.

A chic take on the wild.
In this Dubai home, the wardrobe is treated not simply as storage, but as part of the architecture. A richly tactile 3D wallcovering extends across the closet doors, layering botanical forms and jungle motifs with the quiet dimension of bouclé relief.

Meet Faye Toogood.

One of the most original voices in contemporary design, Faye Toogood built a practice that moves effortlessly between furniture, interiors, fashion and fine art. After beginning her career as an editor at The World of Interiors, she founded her London studio, where material exploration, craftsmanship, and storytelling remain at the heart of every project.

Refusing to be defined by a single discipline, Toogood creates work that is sculptural yet deeply human. Her Butter Sofa for Tacchini was inspired by the comforting tactility of soft butter and the quiet beauty found in everyday rituals, while Cosmic introduces bold forms balanced by a softness that brings a fresh perspective to the collection.

Proof that the best interiors, much like bread and butter, are built on the essentials.

The Marsala sofa by Michel Ducaroy is one of the most distinctive yet often overlooked designs to emerge from Ligne Roset’s innovative collection. Designed in the early 1970’s, it reflects Ducaroy’s fascination with new industrial materials and the relaxed, lounge oriented lifestyle that defined the decade.

Meet Cini Boeri.

Born in Milan in 1924, Boeri belonged to a generation that transformed Italian design, though few did so with her clarity and conviction. After graduating from the Politecnico di Milano in 1951, she worked with Gio Ponti and Marco Zanuso before establishing her own practice in 1963. At a time when architecture and design remained overwhelmingly male professions, Boeri built a career defined by independence, innovation and an unwavering focus on how people actually live.

Her work rejected formality in favor of flexibility. Sofas became landscapes for living, interiors adapted to changing needs and design became a tool for freedom rather than prescription. She consistently challenged the idea that modernism had to be rigid, designing not for how homes looked but for how life unfolded inside them.

Dioré brings a sense of depth and materiality to the walls, echoing the richness of traditional tapestry in a more contemporary way. Anchored by the Pukka sofa’s soft sculptural presence, the space unfolds through a nuanced play of texture.

Meet Gianfranco Frattini.

Born in Padua in 1926, Frattini was part of the generation that built modern Italian design from the ground up. After graduating from the Politecnico di Milano, he trained under Gio Ponti, placing him at the center of a generation that would turn Italian design into a global reference. In 1956, he co-founded the Associazione per il Disegno Industriale, helping formalize what design in Italy could become.

Frattini’s work was never about excess. It was about balance: between structure and softness, function and feeling. His Lina armchair feels composed, almost architectural. His Sesann sofa feels the opposite, soft and relaxed.

He didn’t follow how people lived, he helped redefine it.

Situated within the prestigious Jardin Alpin enclave of Courchevel 1850, this alpine retreat revisits the glamour of the resort’s 1960s golden era while embracing the vibrant spirit of the French Alps. The Cabin armchairs, hand-upholstered in plush New Zealand sheepskin over weathered oak, introduce warmth and texture to the suites, offering a place to unwind after a day on the slopes ❄️
