香港首次舉辦APEC財長會！
很榮幸受到APEC邀請，我們來到香港會議展覽中心，向在場嘉賓介紹中國傳統剪紙藝術🎉趁機展示本港藝術文化的軟實力‼️
剪紙擁有逾1500年歷史，被列入聯合國教科文組織人類非物質文化遺產代表作名錄。在會場外，有現場進行剪紙展示。生肖展區則展示十二生肖的排序，以及背後的傳說故事。
同場仲有花紐等傳統非物質文化技藝介紹，大家一起感受中華傳統手工藝的獨特魅力💫
感謝APEC的邀請，讓剪紙藝術有機會登上國際舞台，被更多人看見！

Guests were genuinely interested in the art of paper cutting and even tried their hand at cutting on the spot — laughter filled the room and the atmosphere was wonderfully lively 😄 Seeing everyone posing for photos with their own zodiac cuttings and ”福“ characters was truly rewarding!
Each zodiac sign carries its own meaning — the rabbit for auspiciousness, the dragon for nobility — while the ”福“ character embodies wishes for happiness and peace 🧧 Every cut is a blessing, every piece a heartfelt token.
The flower knot (花鈕) craft showcased alongside was equally fascinating — thread by thread, coiled into blossoms, revealing the delicacy and wisdom of traditional craftsmanship. Like paper cutting, it is a precious piece of intangible cultural heritage 🌸
To prepare for this event, we handmade a large collection of paper cuttings in advance — from design and cutting to mounting, all done by hand. It was hard work, but absolutely worth it 💪
Being able to introduce these traditional crafts on an international stage means a great deal to us. We hope this opportunity will help more young people and international friends discover intangible cultural heritage, so that these crafts can be passed down from generation to generation 🌱

We were honoured to be invited by APEC to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre to introduce the traditional Chinese art of paper cutting to guests at the event 🎉
At the event, we prepared Chinese zodiac paper cuttings and ”福“ (fortune) character cuttings, which we personally presented to our guests — passing on blessings and traditional culture together 🧧✨
