We’re honoured that our collaboration with House of Great Treasure has been featured for an international design award.

Together, we set out to reimagine what a luxury kitchen showroom could be. Not simply a place to display products, but a destination where design, craftsmanship, hospitality, and everyday living come together. From fully operational culinary spaces to immersive material experiences, every detail was designed to blur the boundaries between retail, lifestyle, and human connection.

This recognition is a celebration of a shared vision and the incredible collaboration between our teams, partners, and everyone who helped bring this project to life.

Some spaces stay with you long after you’ve left them.

Earlier this year, we visited the Orient Express exhibition at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, and it was one of those rare moments where design history and design vision exist in the same room, in conversation with each other.

The original Étoile du Nord carriage. Three visionary scale models of the reborn Orient Express, each realised under the vision of architect and Artistic Director Maxime d’Angeac. A scenography that draws a direct line from the daring modernism of 1925 to today’s most compelling redefinition of luxury travel.

For us, this is what great design does: it doesn’t just reflect its era, it sets the terms for what comes next.

A beautiful reminder of why we do what we do.

At Hero, the spaces we design are never complete without the stories that live inside them.

We are pleased to present Memory Gospel by Hong Kong artist — a work that felt, from the very first moment, quietly compelling.

Executed in ink and charcoal on bamboo, the series explores how memory travels through time — shaped by repetition, mediation, and loss. Bamboo for resilience. Ink for record. Charcoal for everything that fades. The marks fracture, feather, and resist control, much like the memories they carry.

At its core is a tension between permanence and impermanence, precision and feeling, what is preserved and what is forgotten.

Art, like design, says what words cannot.

At Hero, we’ve always believed that a room is never just a room.

When we designed this family office on Connaught Road, the brief wasn’t to impress — it was to build trust. Quietly. Before a single word is exchanged.

So we went against the grain. No dark tones, no corporate formality. Instead, restraint, warmth, and spatial intelligence. Every detail driven by design psychology. Every piece of furniture - from the desks to the custom bar island — designed and made in-house by our team.

In the world of private wealth, trust is the only currency that truly matters. We believe design can be its quietest, most powerful instrument.

Honoured to close out the year with two recognitions from Vogue Living Hong Kong , a platform that champions the pinnacle of design, interiors, art, and luxury lifestyle in Asia. Grateful to be named Best Creative Innovation Hub for HERO Design Group, and deeply honoured that is recognised with the Best Lifestyle Retail Design award – acknowledgements that reflect our heart for meaningful, experience‑driven spaces. This project is especially meaningful, built on deep trust and an aligned strategic, commercial, and creative vision between our CEO and the founder of House of Great Treasure.

Excited for what’s ahead in 2026 as we continue to shape and reveal what’s in the pipeline. Thank you to our clients, collaborators, and community for being part of this journey. The next chapter starts now.

This December, our studio transformed into an intimate jazz club - a vision from our CEO inspired by the magic of Hong Kong nights.

We gathered our international design community, friends, and partners to celebrate design, craftsmanship, and the art of timeless hosting.

A Steinway greeted guests at the entrance as Tess’s melodies filled the air. Inside, a poetic tablescape curated by our CEO Ann Chan Lu bloomed with fresh florals from Holland, exquisite L’Objet tableware from NYC & Portugal, and a cheese selection crafted by master Jeremy .hk.

Shifted Mirrors: Fragments of a Dreamed East reimagined the traditional Chinese courtyard house as a modern home for travelers, migrants, and returning family members with diverse cultural experiences.

We curated the work of over 60 talented artists and designers from around the world. The scenography was conceived as a stage to tell their stories, with each room becoming a small universe seen through the eyes of imagined characters who inhabit these spaces.

Emotions and perspectives from across cultures are woven into this pavilion. We invite you to immerse yourself in these worlds, discovering through their stories reflections of your own journey.
