The church is oriented in the East-West axis to maximize the lighting drama to be experienced inside the Sanctuary. Morning light from the east passes through the narrow vertical slot window, together with a horizontal wooden log made from a tree that once stood on the site, they form the Holy Cross.

[Tapered House] A vacation house is designed in the suburb of Shunde, China for the display of the owner’s collection of Bruce Lee memorabilia. Shunde is also the ancestral home of . The trapezoidal site tapers out from west to east totaling 670 square meters. There is a sharp drop of over 9 meters along the southern edge of the site, forming a natural boundary. Beyond this boundary are three-storey vernacular houses while the north side of the site faces back to a tranquil residential community.
