PplusP Designers Ltd (P+P) is a young and rising design firm based in Hong Kong. Our practice produces high quality and innovative solutions through the synthesis of interior design and project management. Led by Wesley Liu, P+P brings together the creative mind of Wesley Liu and his experience
in various design fields. The team includes architects, interior designers and graphic artists whom all

share a common passion for design. P+P transcends beyond the scope of a design studio, providing multidisciplinary services across multiple industries, such as ART INSTALLATION, CORPORATE DESIGN, HOTEL , HOSPITALITY, RESTAURANTS, and RETAIL. The studio represents a collection of expertise from different
divisions of the design discipline, hence opening up to a wider scope of conceptual ideas and possibilities. This is coherent with the multidisciplinary structure of the studio as our approach is REPONSE–ABLE, FLEXIBLE to the changing needs of each client. A garden house by PplusP Creations - a project defined by the discipline of its plan.

Here, the garden is far larger than the house itself. Structural walls, together with the existing architectural form, imposed significant constraints on the layout, turning the planning process into a rigorous spatial exercise.

As a designer who works through light and shadow, the intention was to align light with the orientation and form of the architecture itself. The result is a plan that feels calm and orthogonal in daily use — clear, efficient and quietly precise — allowing every part of the space to be used to its fullest potential. Interior and exterior are conceived as a continuous environment, dissolving the boundary between house and garden.

The living concept draws from both Western and J*panese traditions. Inside, a hinoki bath and a dedicated foot-soaking area introduce rituals of slow living, while the garden accommodates a BBQ space designed for gathering and conviviality.

A further gesture extends beyond the private home. The client was persuaded to commission a sculpture for the building, offering a shared moment of visual pleasure for every resident as they arrive through the car park — a small but meaningful contribution to the collective environment.

This is the philosophy that guides PplusP Creations: architecture and interiors not only shaping private life, but quietly enriching the spaces we share.

We introduced yellow accents as a metaphor for the second sailor, which defines the atmosphere of the guest bedroom. The same design DNA continues into the public areas, where subtle touches of yellow appear quietly throughout the space — like crew members present on deck.

Beyond their functional role, these hints of colour also transform the mood of the interior. During sunrise and sunset, the yellow details catch the light and gently saturate the space with a warm glow.

In the bathrooms and bedroom backdrops, finely carved curved details are introduced, subtly echoing the language of the Santa & Cole Sistema Laminada lamps — creating a quiet dialogue between the lighting and the architectural elements.

We deliberately chose Santa & Cole lighting as a subtle metaphor for a sailor. The delicate touch of blue in the detailing hints at the ocean — a quiet tribute to the master of the sea.

Good design must come with good products.

The kitchen really sets the tone. The Arclinea kitchen system was not just a brand choice. It was structural logic. Clean lines.

No nonsense. The collaboration on the MAC bespoke system and the Viabizzuno pendant pushed the detailing to another level. When you compress this much control into a nano footprint, every joint becomes critical.

We called this project “999.9 Made with Italy.”

Apart from the sand mix and the unavoidable windows and window frames, almost everything in this 70 sqm space comes from Italy, including the cement powder and waterproof mix. It wasn’t about making a statement.

700 sq ft doesn’t sound dramatic, but this is honestly one of the most challenging projects we’ve ever done. Not because of size, but precision… and the client (the design lead). 😄

Everything had to be fully resolved before ex*****on. For someone like me who normally embraces a certain level of on-site instinct and improvisation, this project became the opposite. It was almost a discipline exercise. Every plan, elevation, ceiling layout had to lock into one single grid - that is, tiles align with walls, walls align with ceiling joints, lighting aligns with furniture, the 1mm precise gap between different sets of faucets, etc. - one affects the other… If something is off by even a few millimetres, you see it immediately. At this scale, there is nowhere to hide.

No exposed switches, no visible sockets, all windows and bathroom glass are transparent — and frosted only when needed.

The kitchen really sets the tone. The Arclinea kitchen system was not just a brand choice. It was structural logic. Clean lines. No nonsense. The collaboration on the MAC bespoke system and the Viabizzuno pendant pushed the detailing to another level. When you compress this much control into a nano footprint, every joint becomes critical.

This project felt like operating on a tightrope.

Extremely controlled.
Extremely aligned.
Almost obsessive.

But that’s the beauty of it.
