IbA is Hiring!

In-between Architects is looking for an Experienced Interior Architect / Designer and an Assistant Interior Designer to join our Hong Kong studio.

At IbA, we believe good design should be thoughtful, timeless and made to age gracefully. We care about proportion, material, detail and how spaces are actually lived in—not only how they look when completed.

The roles involve both design and project coordination, from design development, drawings and SketchUp to moodboards, material research, presentations, project documentation and site visits. We believe some of the best learning happens through the process of making and resolving real projects.

We are looking for people who are organised, thoughtful, curious and detail-oriented, and who would like to learn, contribute and grow together along our design journey.

Please send your CV, portfolio and expected salary to [email protected]

Honoured to be included in the Top 50 by Home Journal.

Grateful HJ for the recognition, and for being the platform that continues to connect designers, ideas, and conversations across the region.

We see this not only as a milestone, but also a reminder —
to keep refining, to stay clear in our thinking, and to "design with care."

Regain Energy, Park College

Designing this clubhouse, I kept returning to one idea.
A place to regain energy.

In Hong Kong, life moves quickly.
The city is dense. Efficient. Always in motion.

Moments to slow down are rare.

So we imagined a space where the body can move.
And the mind can gradually settle.
Yoga in the morning.

Boxing or training during the day.
Reading quietly as evening arrives.

Sometimes architecture is simple.
Just a place to reset.
And begin again.

Steady at heart.

Thank you and for creating a platform where designers from Hong Kong and China, together with brands, can sit down and talk about light, space, and design.

These exchanges matter.
Lighting is not just technical knowledge.
It is something we feel, live with, and slowly understand over time.
