The Drops side table by Nanna Aakjaer continues the centuries old craft of Intarsia passed down from her Grandfather Jørgen Aakjær Jørgensen. The precision and skill of puzzling pieces of oak veneer together to form a seamless mosaic pattern is rarely found on furniture today. The Suspence Lamp by GamFratesi for Fritz Hansen draws inspiration from the movement of a single water droplet suspended in air. from the integrated light cable all the way down to the gentle curve of the shades rim in a soft monochrome grey, creates a sense of gravitational pull to pool diffused light over any given surface.
