In the daily diet of cats or dogs, enzyme deficiency often occurs, making it difficult to complete digestion and absorption. Lactic acid bacteria help produce natural enzymes in the body, maintaining healthy digestive function.

The AKANE EF-2001 probiotic from Japan contains 300 billion EF-2001 (Enterococcus faecalis EF-2001) lactic acid bacteria (equivalent to the bacteria in 30 yogurts), with no added flavorings or colorants. Its powder form can be mixed into drinking water or dry/wet food for feeding.
