Thank you for 10K followers 🤍
With a background in architecture, I’ve always loved observing the city, and I wanted to use drawing as a way to document the little details within our communities. Street stalls to shop signs hanging on buildings, these are things we see every day when walking through the city, but don’t always stop to notice.
Recently, I discovered that drawing can bring people and communities together. When we take the time to appreciate the streetscapes around us, personal observations can slowly become part of a shared collective memory of the city.
Over the years, Paper with Pen has grown from just drawing to creating Hong Kong-printed postcards, as well as hosting sketching workshops and city walks. There have also been many unexpected milestones, like publishing my own book and taking part in Affordable Art Fair.
Thank you for all your support over the years. I’ll keep drawing Hong Kong, walking the streets, and observing this city 🖊️
