Back in 2024, I bought 400g of glittery blue corriedale roving. Fastforward to a couple weeks ago, I decided to use it for a knitting project, but I did the have enough for my size. I went back to the same shop but alas it was sold out. Another week passes and I found another shop carrying a very similar corriedale roving. It was pretty similar so I ordered 200g. Itā€™s here now, and I think this is a match!

Plying for FINISHED! Just a day behind the official finish, but a huge improvement for me from the previous year. Now ...

Now that the tour is over, I should get tend to the various projects on my looms and needles, or using the yarns Iā€™ve already finished, but I have a myriad of fibers and a treadle spinning wheel tempting to keep spinningā€¦

(de)Tour de Fleece 2025 - Lavender Fields finally washed and measured just in time to start the 2026 cycle.

My first 4-ply yarn spun as a fractal. 1280.2 yards 4-ply, 144.5 yards 3-ply, and 234.6 yards 2-ply. A total of 1658.7 yards of finished yarn consisting of 3.42 miles of singles (equivalent to 1.52 and 5.51km respectively).

I started this spin at a time of immense change in my life, so Iā€™m proud to have found balance in my life and finished this project. Onto Tour de Fleece 2026!
