Thank you to everyone who has supported Room One over the past three years❤️
Room One started in 2023 with five of us, one simple idea, and honestly, no idea how far it could go.
We just wanted to create playing cards and collectibles that we genuinely wanted to see in the world — things with stronger ideas, better stories, more detail, and a little more personality.
At the beginning, we were figuring everything out as we went. Some ideas worked, some didn’t. Some projects changed completely halfway through. There were late nights, unexpected problems, crazy opportunities, and a lot of learning along the way.
But somewhere along the way, Room One became much bigger than the five of us.
It became every Kickstarter backer who believed in an idea before it even existed.
Every magician and cardist who used our decks.
Every creator who shared our work.
Every artist and friend who helped us bring an idea to life.
And even some of the people we looked up to in this community, who gave us advice, encouragement, and support along the way.
Most importantly, it became all of you.
Everyone who bought something from us, commented on a post, sent us a message, shared our work with a friend, and everyone watching this video right now.
Three years later, we’re still learning, still experimenting, and still trying to make things that surprise people.
We genuinely wouldn’t be here without all of you.
So from the five of us who started this in 2023:
Thank you for making Room One possible❤️
And over the next few days, we’ll be sharing more little stories behind Room One, the people, the products, the random ideas, the mistakes, and some things you probably never knew about us.
More stories coming soon.
