🥩🦐 Garlic Butter Surf & Turf 💛🔥
🧾 Ingredients
For the steak:
• 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks (about 250–300 g each)
• Salt & black pepper, to taste
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 2 tbsp butter
• 2 garlic cloves, smashed
• 1 sprig rosemary or thyme
For the shrimp:
• 200 g large shrimp, peeled & deveined
• 1 tbsp butter
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• ½ tsp smoked paprika or Cajun seasoning
• A squeeze of lemon juice
• Salt & pepper, to taste
For the garlic butter sauce:
• 3 tbsp butter (melted)
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• 1 tbsp chopped parsley
• ½ tbsp lemon juice
• Pinch of chili flakes (optional)

👩🍳 Instructions
1. Prepare the steak:
• Bring steaks to room temperature and pat dry.
• Season generously with salt and pepper.
• Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat.
• Sear steaks 3–4 minutes per side (for medium-rare), adding butter, garlic, and rosemary during the last minute to baste.
• Remove and let rest 5 minutes.
2. Cook the shrimp:
• In the same pan, add 1 tbsp butter.
• Sauté garlic for 30 seconds, then add shrimp.
• Season with paprika, salt, and pepper.
• Cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink and slightly golden.
• Squeeze in lemon juice and toss to coat.
3. Make the garlic butter sauce:
• Melt butter in a small bowl, stir in garlic, parsley, lemon juice, and chili flakes.
4. Serve it up:
• Slice steak against the grain.
• Arrange shrimp on top or alongside.
• Drizzle everything generously with the warm garlic butter sauce.
• Garnish with extra parsley and a wedge of lemon 🍋.
