A rather handsome set of four English composite stone garden pots, each bearing a finely modelled lion’s head. Weathered to a most agreeable patina and quite the thing for a terrace, doorway or courtyard — whether one plants an olive, a bay, or simply allows them to stand in dignified repose.

A complete nest of four, each sliding neatly beneath the next so the set occupies only the largest table’s footprint. Richly carved aprons, square tops and slender legs in the late Qing manner — compact, practical and of handsome dark colour.

A fine Neo-Classical giltwood mirror of generous scale.
The frame is richly gilded, the crest centred by a classical urn with scrolling foliage, the sides dressed with trailing acanthus, and the base finished with carved paterae. Measuring 36 inches wide by 51½ inches high, it is a handsome reproduction in the late-18th-century taste — well suited to a hall, drawing room or dressing chamber.
