Aroma Tanah The Series — Part 3! ✨

Yes, this is the 3rd part of Aroma Tanah The Series which is the end of episode 1 of this series lol. The mold fell and broke last monday while I was taking out the mug 🥲

I’m sorry, there’s no “But don’t worry! I can do something to fix it” because there’s NOTHING I can do to fix it and I am sad 🥲 but it’s okay!

P.81 // Today was extremely windy, but I love how the light rain showered tonight. It feels sad yet lovely. And it was completed with the warmth from this stunning mug — a mug to let you grab and feel the warmth gracefully.

P.78 // There were times I want to stop experimenting with glazes and just put my work out there on sale. I know it's tiring to be unsatisfied with the glaze results. Yet, I believe it's also rewarding to find exquisite ones. So I won't stop.

And after these last 2 months, I finally found it! Alhamdulillah. 🎆

P. 73 // These past several weeks have been really horrifying for us Indonesians.

We are all know how these Covid-19 cases have been tremendously increased here. These days, I've even heard those mourn announcements from the nearest mosque from my home studio at least 3 times a day. It was really heartbreaking.

This unsurprisingly would affect my productivity in making ceramic too. I can not go outside for firing my pottery since I still have no kiln here. So all I can do now is trying my best to sell all of my latest fired ceramics (and research for the next design, of course). To keep this small business running. Because I won't give this up. 🔥

Hence, I want to thank all of you who have been really lovely by purchasing my pottery or even solely told me the sweet words through my DM or in the YouTube videos comments. You guys are so precious! 🥺

P. 72 // Officially turn 23 today and let me drop by to say hello here.

Hi, everyone. For those who don't have a clue whose hands that you have always seen on my photos and my videos; that's me, Khonsa (nice to meet you 🌟)!

Realizing now that I finally 23, my memories with ceramic suddenly comes right before my eyes. And I think I want to share a little story with you here.

Growing up in a typical Indonesian family, I know the moment I decided to choose ceramics as my major in college, many of my relatives asked me why to the level I don't want to start any of the conversations. 😅

But the thing is I know myself better than anyone. I know why I choose ceramic. And I know why I still choose this path as my career; as my journey. And 22 was the beginning of it. It was such rough pavements, I must say. But I knew, 23 is gonna be harder than ever.

Whatever it takes, bismillah.
