I make Soap with milk from my own Goats. We do milk sharing which means that the kids stay with mom and I milk off what they don't drink.

I also make candles and wax melts, I just love fragrances

Now, little update time.
The Last weeks there were no easy ones.
I got myself a sepsis, yay.
But apparently I looked still surprisingly good for how very very sick I was according to a nurse.
So I spent two weeks in isolation in Mayo University hospital. Very lovely.
Then I spent another 1.5 weeks in the Mayo hospice to learn to walk again. Unfortunately nobody knows what actually caused my feet and hands to get neuropathy, which is numb or no feeling in feet and hands . Was it the chemo or the sepsis or both.
The hospice is such an amazing and beautiful facility, the staff is absolutely amazing,
And since Monday I am at home, thankfully.
My walking is still not great but I am hopeful that it will get better.
At the moment I use a walker and wheelchair 🙄
So unfortunately I don't know when or even if I can ever make soap again.
It's very hard to admit but that's what it is at the moment.

Sorry for being so quiet here.
My "Holiday" didn't end as planned really.

We had a lovely Communion and a good family time. Can't believe it already 4 weeks.
Anyway after I was supposed to get my treatment which I got but something was off. So after a good few tests, CTs we found out that my sweetheart of cancer mutated. They do that but it's not great news. And because my bloods are all over the place I am now a week in galway..
Next week I'll hopefully get my new chemo.
It really pi**es me off as I had so much planned this summer but what can you do.

I'll be off for a few days as we have communion this weekend.
You can order of course but it won't go out until next week.
And cross the fingers the weather looks like we are in for a summer 🎊🎊🎊

I was lucky yesterday to catch the kids playing on the trees plus the sun was out for maybe a few minutes 🤪
They are only three weeks old, mom feeds them well. And I suspect Granny helps here and there as I found bites on her teats this morning and I saw the kids bumping her udder.
Somehow my goats are nuts 😂

It has come to my attention that a page was created to defame myself and my friends' characters by claiming we created it.
It was reported to Facebook and our solicitors as it constitutes defamation. It will be followed up on. If you see any of these pages claiming to be myself or 'The Friendly Crafters' please report them, thank you.
The only pages I have for Happy Goat Soap are Facebook and Instagram and my website, everything else is FAKE, please let me know if you find any pages and report them, thank you.

Happy Friday 🎊

The kids are two weeks tomorrow, time flies.

You might wonder where I got the milk from to make soap all these last few months.
The answer is... drum roll ......Molly. She might have an aditude on her but she is still in milk after a year. Every morning she gives me nearly two litres of milk.

It might not be a huge amount of milk but more than enough for me and I don't need to put her in kid every year.

By the way, she is really taking the granny role of on. Something I didn't expect at all. Goats always surprise you

Happy Star Wars Day… and a very happy birthday to Princess Leia

I can’t believe the babies are already over a week old—they’re doing so well, they are happy out.

And keeping with the Star Wars theme, our little girl is now called Bo-Katan,
Since I promised my boys they could name a boy… they chose Bob 😄

So here we are—Bo & Bob…
Not too bad 😂
