Now greetings from dat Ireland.
So I do many things, not only lights of my own design from my own unique material .
So this a construct I put together.
The base is heavily verde degree copper sprayer.
designed primarily for the use in France for grape spraying.
came with leather straps and a sprayer attachment.
It was made in France in 1928.
I have another made in 1931. the design differs not.
Yhey were used in Ireland I would imagine filled with poison to kil off weeds and part of the problem of why Ireland is bereft of biodiversity.
Obviously its sat in my lounge on a 18th century oak chest....date implied bt its locking mechanism and design and the rough cut nature of the chest. The lamp is the exact same age as the pye sunburst radio at the back ....which is a nice coincidence.Like the lamp it also works...if you have good ears. The shade emulates the shape of the sprayer. (2 years to find match). In shape and colour sense.....much nicer than this bad picture.
