Forrest & Coco

Forrest & Coco I am based in Cork, Ireland and love to create colourful items with yarn and a hook! I love sharing my passion for handmade items. Thanks for checking into page!

About me
Hi my name is Andrea and I am passionate about all things yarn, but crochet has a special place in my heart. I used to crochet when I was a child and I have vivid memories of making granny squares with my nan. I stopped for many many years and I picked up a hook again about five years ago during a time when I needed an outlet. More recently I have dipped my toe into circular knitting loom

s. So here we are we the encouragement of my family and friends I have made this leap as making and crafting brings me such joy I decided to see if there is the possibility of a business from it. My Work
My handmade items especially the baby blankets are wonderful heirlooms. My prices reflect the materials used and my time. I won't be undervaluing my items just to make a sale and I don't want to do a disservice to the crafting industry, therefore my items might not be for everyone but you can still support my little business by sharing and commenting and tagging which I will greatly appreciate. I will be slowly building my stocks over the coming months and introducing new items as I go along. So here we go! Hope you enjoy browsing through my items and thank you for taking the time to come and visit my FB page.

How fab is my yarn bouquet that my gorgeous friend of C. Daly Designs gifted me yesterday.

Really cheered me up πŸ’œ thank you

Unfortunately I had another fall on Sunday and have rebroken my elbow, so I will be out of action again for another few months! I'll spend my time categorising and organising my patterns, books and mags.
Looking forward to seeing all your gorgeous makes to keep me motivated for when I can pick up my hook again.

So for now Crochet create be happy πŸ’œ

Hello!
Long time since I've been on!
My arm is healing and I am going to start doing a bit of crochet this weekend!
Its been a long 4 months and I am eager to pick up my hook again!
Just sorting through my WIP's and my different projects I have ready to go!

I added tassels to this gorgeous Mandela and love how it has completed the look.

πŸ’œHappy SundayπŸ’œ

After not been able to crochet for the past 8 weeks due to my broken elbow I was thrilled to be able to finish off this Mandela today.
I only had to attach to the ring to complete as the main part was done a few months ago, but so happy I was able to finish it today.
Now I need to decide if I'll add tassels or leave it as it is.
I have missed crocheting so much, I'm so happy to have made a small start.

Pattern : Starflower Mandala by Zelna Olivier
Yarn : A mix of cotton yarn from my stash

Hello you lovely lot, I've unfortunately broken my right elbow after a fall and not able to crochet for awhile 😫😒

I'd just started my universe in bloom blanket and I have a load of WIP that will be waiting for me once I recover.

In the meantime I'll keep checking your gorgeous accounts for inspiration!

If anyone has any suggestions for binge worthy series let me know!

Delighted to finish my hexagon granny square cardigan, I added a hood which took me quite a few tries before I was happy with the outcome!

And the sleeves are amazing, full and billowing

This is my third hexagon cardi using the fab pattern by Kelly.
